SIXTH SENSE MUSEUM


The Sixth Sense Museum offers an exploration of music and sounds through the shared yet unique experience of synesthesia. Synesthesia is a neuropsy-chological trait in which the stimulation of one sense causes the automatic ex-perience of another sense. Synesthesia is a genetically linked trait estimated to affect from 2 to 5 percent of the general population. Visitors can enjoy multiple light and sound installation meant to replicate the power of sounds on the brain, and how many of us may picture it. They can also enjoy exhibits from synesthete artists who replicated their visual experiences on different mediums.
